EXPERIENCE BUILDERS.

We believe that physical spaces are more than simply buildings – they impact our behavior and emotions. They’re manifestations of our client’s identity and create experiences that help our clients bring their mission to life.

RESPONSIVE DESIGNERS.

We work with business owners, educators, and developers to bring their visions to life in their physical space. Our expert team of designers and architects dig into each client’s mission and vision to guide them through the entire project; ensuring each space we work with becomes the perfect experience for the people in it.

RELATIONSHIP DRIVEN.

Our projects have a long lasting impact on the community they’re built in and the people that use them. Our work is going to be around for a long time, and so will we. We prioritize great,  long-lasting relationships with our clients over trying to increase our margins, and always will.

THOUGHT LEADERS.

Our team pulls on research to make sure we are taking advantage of current trends and best practices from around the country, no matter what industry we’re serving. In each of our projects, we’re seeking where we can infuse technology to seamlessly bring a physical space into the digital age. We also believe we’re leading the industry with sustainability driven designs.

The architect was submitting an entry for the new Yale Rare Books Library and asked Dru for his help in building a model. Subsequently, Dru was hired as a draftsman. Thus, started an over 50-year career in architecture, always striving to communicate the architect’s intent in as clear and concise a manner as possible. He attended The University of Colorado, which led him to Aspen, where he built two houses for his brother from the ground up, learning by hand how buildings are constructed. For twelve years he worked for practically every firm in Aspen, working on great projects including remodeling a house for Jack Nicholson. He also got to ski, a lot. Later, he was invited to assist a firm in Boston, where he learned AutoCAD (v2.16) in 1986. He has since enhanced his CAD productivity, creating over 400 custom programs for AutoCAD. He has worked with several firms developing their CAD standards, including a civil engineering firm with 76 CAD operators in 7 offices up and down the East Coast.

Interests

Dru is extremely grateful for all the experiences he has had in the past: skier, swimmer, sailor, climber and even wrangler on a dude ranch in southern Colorado. He has lived in the West: Boulder, Aspen, Old Snowmass, Durango, Jackson Hole; in the East: Boston’s Back Bay, North Shore (near the beach), South Shore (on the beach), Princeton, NJ; and even in Boca Raton, FL. He now resides with his artist wife in Franklin, Johnson County Indiana’s county seat. They are enjoying all the new small businesses and restaurants that have moved into the historic buildings downtown. Dru had the privilege to guide the renovations as a member of the development commission design committee. Their children only visit on holidays centered around food. Aaron, a web developer, has lived in New York City for the past ten years, still in search of the ‘perfect’ hamburger. Lucy is in the Army National Guard and has learned most of her excellent cooking skills from her brother. So, they cook, we eat! Another great blessing.
